BioCharacter: Kuwabara Kazuma
Series: Yu Yu Hakusho
Bio: Kuwabara is the second toughest student in Sarayashiki Junior High School. Yusuke Urameshi is considered the top and feared fighter of the school. Kuwabara is constantly trying to challenge the other into a fight, only to be defeated on regular basis. He is also not the brightest of students and is slow to pick up on things, however when it comes to fighting he seems to learn at a quicker pace. While he may seem like an average street punk, Kuwabara has a code he goes by and will not go against it even if it would cost him his life.
His sense of awareness to ghosts has led him to working alongside Yusuke. During his journeys with Yusuke he has been able to channel his spirit energy into a sword or other objects when he has a solid object in hand, like the hilt of a sword. There have been times where Kuwabara has doubted his importance to the team, only later to learn that his place with them is just as important.
Kuwabara has an older sister named Shizuru. From time to time she helps them with their cases. The spirit awareness seems to run in their family. She tends to keep him in line when he threatens to embarrass their family name. While he may act tough, Kuwabara cares deeply for his friends and will do whatever it takes to make sure they are safe. He also has a crush on Hiei’s sister Yukina who is an ice demon, and will do what he can to make her happy and safe.
